Meloni Responds to Russian Presenter's Insults

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has responded to public comments made by Russian television presenter Vladimir Solovyov, who used insulting terms to describe her on his television show.
In a post on X, Meloni stated that "a willing propagandist of the regime cannot give lessons in either freedom or cohesion," adding that "we are not controlled by strings, we have no owners, and we do not accept orders." She emphasized that her compass is "the interest of Italy."
Meloni's response comes after Solovyov's comments, in which he called her, among other things, a "certified idiot" and a "bad and ugly little woman."
