Istanbul: Three Dead in Hotel Poisoning Incident

A tragedy unfolded in Istanbul, where three members of a Turkish family from Germany died from poisoning in a hotel. The victims are two children, aged 3 and 6, and their mother.
The family, vacationing in Istanbul, fell ill after consuming street food in the Ortaköy area. Initial suspicions pointed to food poisoning, with reports mentioning mussels and stuffed potatoes.
However, an investigation revealed that pesticide spraying had taken place at the hotel. A hotel employee and two employees of a pest control company have been arrested. Additionally, two other tourists were hospitalized with nausea and vomiting.
The father of the family is hospitalized in critical condition. All hotel guests have been transferred to other accommodations.
