Cypriot Journalist Escapes Bombing in Kyiv

Cypriot journalist Giorgos Tattis, a member of a Cypriot delegation in Kyiv, narrowly escaped a major bombing in the Ukrainian capital. According to his post, he left shortly before Wednesday's attack, where 31 people were killed and 159 were injured.
The delegation was covering the case of Oleksandr Granovsky, a former MP, for whom the Cyprus Democratic Lawyers Association (CDLA) has mobilized. Tattis described his experiences in Kyiv, including air raids and the determination of the residents.
The mission was carried out on behalf of a subcommittee of the Council of Europe (PACE), investigating cases of transnational repression.
