Political groups have alleged an attempt to pay €500 for candidacy in the UK student elections, with accusations directed towards FPK Protoporia.

In a joint statement, Proodeftiki, Anagennisi, and Metopo claimed that Protoporia refuses to provide information about the EFEK UK's finances, raising transparency concerns. The groups expressed disappointment with Protoporia's stance, accusing them of undemocratic behavior and attempting to impose income criteria on the elections.

The groups denounced the attempt to impose a monetary amount for participation in the elections, characterizing it as a "clear introduction of income criteria in the democratic process." They also expressed concerns about the lack of transparency regarding the management of EFEK UK's finances.

Finally, the groups stated that they would consider their stance towards the "abused and opaque process," emphasizing that the responsibility for the uncertainty of the student elections lies with FPK Protoporia UK.
