An unusual incident occurred on an easyJet flight from Malaga to Gatwick, with passengers reporting that an 89-year-old woman boarded the aircraft deceased.

According to testimonies, the woman was transported in a wheelchair by five relatives, who told staff she was tired. Shortly before takeoff, the crew was informed of her death, causing a 12-hour delay.

easyJet claims the woman was alive upon boarding. Passengers, such as Petra Boddington, expressed surprise that someone who appeared dead was allowed to board. Another passenger, Elizabeth Rowland, reported that the family was trying to wake her up before boarding.

easyJet issued a statement expressing condolences and stating that the flight returned to the station due to a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance.
