Italy: Three Dead, 15 Injured in A1 Highway Accident

A tragic traffic accident occurred in Italy on the A1 highway, between Arezzo and Florence. A truck crashed into stationary vehicles due to traffic congestion, resulting in three fatalities and 15 injuries.
According to Corriere della Sera, the accident happened shortly before 11 a.m. The truck, for unknown reasons, failed to brake and hit several vehicles in succession, including another truck, a caravan, a tourist bus, and an ambulance.
Two paramedics and a 75-year-old patient in the ambulance died. A total of 15 people were injured in the collision, one of whom is hospitalized in critical condition.
The highway remained closed for several hours.
