Italy: Arrests Made in Gang Rape of 19-Year-Old Moroccan Woman in Padua

In Italy, police have arrested three Tunisian men for the gang rape of a 19-year-old Moroccan woman in an abandoned airport in Padua.
The victim and her 22-year-old Algerian partner, while waiting to travel to Spain, were attacked by the three men. After threatening the 19-year-old's partner with a knife and chasing him away, the perpetrators raped the woman and stole her mobile phone and 25 euros.
The arrested men, aged 19 and 20, have a significant criminal record for robbery and theft. The arrests took place on July 19, August 1, and August 6.
One of the perpetrators had been convicted of robbing a minor and had escaped from prison, while the other two had been convicted of receiving stolen goods and robbery.
