Italy: Meloni Leads Center-Left by Eight Points in Polls

Nearly three years after its formation, Giorgia Meloni's governing coalition in Italy continues to maintain strong momentum, according to recent polls.
The Brothers of Italy party garners 29.5%, remaining the leading force. Within the governing majority, Forza Italia, led by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, registers 8.8%, while the League of Matteo Salvini reaches 8.7%.
In the opposition, the Democratic Party polls at 21.5% and the Five Star Movement at 12.9%. The Italian Left – Green alliance follows with 6.9%.
Among the smaller parties, Azione reaches 3.5%, Italia Viva of former Prime Minister Matteo Renzi at 2.9%, while the pro-European More Europe is limited to 1.7%.
