Italy: First Heatwave Death Reported in Bologna

In Italy, a 47-year-old man, owner of a small construction company, died outside Bologna while working on a school building. Ait el Azam Brahim, a migrant from Morocco, felt unwell shortly after 12:00.
This is the first death attributed to this year's heatwave. In Milan, the president of the Lombardy region, Attilio Fontana, signed a decree prohibiting work in direct sunlight in agricultural and construction businesses from 12:30 to 16:00 when the alert level is 'red', until mid-September.
