Spain: Father Threatens Coach with Machete Over Son's Playing Time

In Madrid, Spain, police arrested a man for threatening his son's football coach with a machete. The incident occurred near a football field in the Hortaleza area of Madrid last Sunday (2/11).
The arrested man allegedly had a heated argument with the coach, complaining that his son wasn't getting enough playing time. Witnesses reported that the man struck the coach with the machete. Police identified the man, who was carrying a machete in his vehicle measuring over 63 centimeters long with a blade over 45 centimeters.
The man was arrested for illegal possession of a weapon and brought to justice. A similar incident recently occurred in England, where a manager threatened a Premier League player with a gun in London on September 6. He was arrested two days later.
