Japan: Knife Attack at Factory Leaves 14 Injured

Fourteen people were injured in a knife attack at a tire factory for heavy vehicles in central Japan, according to first aid services.
A spokesperson for the services stated that they received a call from a neighboring rubber factory reporting that "five or six people were stabbed" and that a "spray-form liquid" was also used during the attack.
Japanese media, including NHK, reported the arrest of a suspect for attempted murder. At least 6 of the 14 injured are hospitalized.
Violent crime is relatively rare in Japan, where the homicide rate is low and gun laws are strict.
