Queen Camilla Vacations in Greece on Tory Donor's Yacht – Reactions Sparked

Queen Camilla spent part of her summer vacation in Greece aboard the luxury yacht Zenobia, owned by Syrian-Saudi billionaire businessman and Conservative donor, Wafic Saïd, sparking political discussions.
The 78-year-old wife of King Charles was spotted in Marina Zeas on the £30 million yacht. Saïd, known for his close relationship with former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, was not on board, while King Charles remained in Scotland.
Camilla's presence on the yacht of a powerful political donor sparked reactions, with critics noting that the royal family must maintain an image of political neutrality. Former Liberal Democrat minister Norman Baker stressed that hospitality from politically connected individuals is inconsistent with the image of austerity promoted by the monarch.
Saïd, with a fortune of £1.9 billion, has been linked to the Al Yamamah arms deal between the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. His wife, Rosemary, has donated over £2 million to the Conservatives since 2015.
The Zenobia, 57 meters long, has six cabins for 12 guests and a crew of 13.
Saïd stated that he has known the Parker-Bowles family for 40 years and that lending the yacht was a natural act of friendship.
