A major fire has damaged part of Glasgow's central train station. The fire started in an e-cigarette shop on Union Street and spread to the station's Victorian building.

More than 60 firefighters battled the blaze for over 13 hours. All train services at Glasgow Central Station have been canceled until at least Monday evening.

The Voco Grand Central Hotel was evacuated, while a cafe and a hair salon were completely destroyed. Network Rail reported that they would assess the damage to the station.
