Germany: Military Helicopter Crashes in Saxony

A military helicopter crashed into the Mulde River, northeast of Leipzig, in Saxony, Germany. Police have not released information about the occupants.

Police were alerted by canoe-kayak athletes who spotted helicopter parts and fuel in the water. Special rescue teams are operating in the area.

According to the BILD newspaper, the pilot is missing, and approaching the wreckage is difficult due to kerosene.
