Knife Attack in Tokyo: Police Officer Injured

A police officer was injured in a knife attack in central Tokyo. A man was arrested near the U.S. Embassy.

The incident occurred just days before a scheduled visit by U.S. President Donald Trump to Japan.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department has mobilized an additional 18,000 officers to bolster security during the visit.

The motive of the attacker remains unknown.
