Two Civilians Killed in Ukrainian Attack on Russian Region

Two civilians were killed and four injured in Ukrainian attacks on the Russian region of Belgorod, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said today via Telegram.

A woman was killed when a shell hit a private house in the settlement of Shebekino, and a man was killed in a drone attack in Rakitnoye, Gladkov said. Five people were injured in various attacks, he added.

Furthermore, according to the Russian state news agency RIA, the Kremlin said today that Britain is one of the leaders of the camp that wants the war in Ukraine to continue.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said that attempts by Western powers to increase pressure on Russia would be ineffective and would not help efforts to end the war.
