94 Migrants Rescued South of Crete

Ninety-four migrants were rescued in the sea area 14 nautical miles southwest of Kali Limenes in Crete. The operation was coordinated by the Joint Coordination Center for Search and Rescue (JCCSR).
A floating vessel of the Hellenic Coast Guard participated in the operation, as well as a tanker flying the flag of Liberia. A Frontex drone also provided assistance.
The rescued individuals were transferred to the port of Agia Galini, where they received first aid.
