Australian MP Threatens Journalist During Interview

Bob Katter, an independent MP for Kennedy in Australia, threatened to punch a Channel 9 journalist, Josh Bavas, during a press conference.

Katter expressed his support for planned anti-immigration protests and called for the deportation of those involved in pro-Palestine demonstrations. Tensions escalated when Bavas reminded Katter of his Lebanese heritage. "I punch blokes in the mouth when they say that, don't you dare say that," Katter responded.

Katter was holding an Australian flag and stated that those with anti-Australian views should leave the country.
