Australia: 59 Charges Filed in Sydney Attack

In Australia, police have filed 59 charges against a 24-year-old man for the attack on a Hanukkah gathering at Bondi Beach in Sydney, including a terrorism charge.
The attack, inspired by the Islamic State, left 22 injured, with nine in critical condition and 13 in serious but stable condition, according to New South Wales health authorities. Fifteen people were killed.
One of the perpetrators was killed, as was the suspect's 50-year-old father.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Western governments to combat anti-Semitism and guarantee the safety of Jewish communities. Donald Trump called for a fight against Islamist terrorism.
