AKTOR Group: €507 Million Railway Project in Romania Underway

AKTOR Group announced that its subsidiary, AKTOR Romania, is constructing the Apața–Cața (Lot-2) section of the new Brașov – Sighișoara railway line in Romania. The project, with a budget of €507 million, includes the construction of 2 twin tunnels in the Homorod and Ormenis mountains, with lengths of 6.9 km and 5.1 km respectively.

The tunnels are designed for speeds up to 160 km/h. The technical teams have achieved an average daily production of 18 meters in the excavation of the Ormeniș tunnel.
