Victorian Church Facade Collapses in Cleckheaton, England

Panic ensued in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, England, when the facade of a Victorian church collapsed. The incident occurred around 10 a.m. when part of the building suddenly collapsed onto the sidewalk of Bradford Road.
Video captured the moment a passerby noticed pieces of the wall falling and managed to move away just before the entire facade crashed to the ground. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collapse.
Police and fire crews immediately rushed to the scene. Images after the collapse show large stones and debris scattered on the sidewalk.
The building was erected in the 1850s as a United Reformed Church and in recent years has operated as an event and wedding venue called The Monal. A company representative stressed that 'the most important thing is that everyone is completely safe'.
