8-Year-Old Trapped Under Tram in Strasbourg

An 8-year-old boy was trapped under a tram in the Neuhof area of Strasbourg but was rescued without serious injuries. The incident occurred when the child, riding a bicycle with a friend, fell onto the tracks of tram line C.

The tram driver reacted immediately, but the child was trapped. A passerby tried to help, as seen in videos on social media. According to the Strasbourg Transport Company, the child did not suffer serious injuries and was freed by firefighters. He was taken to the hospital for examination.

The incident caused a disruption of tram traffic for about one hour.
