A 10-year-old boy survived the sinking of a tourist boat in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, where at least 38 people died. The child, who was traveling with his family, managed to survive by finding refuge in an air pocket inside the capsized vessel.

As he told rescuers, everything happened in an instant. The child was taken to a hospital, shocked but without serious injuries.

The shipwreck occurred on Saturday when the tourist boat carrying 53 passengers capsized due to a storm. So far, 10 people have been rescued, while four are still missing. The search continues.

The testimony of Dang Anh Tuan is also shocking, as he described the dramatic moments during the overturning of the ship. Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a popular tourist destination.
