Ferry with 267 Aboard Runs Aground in South Korea

A passenger ferry in South Korea, the 'Queen Jenuvia 2,' carrying 267 passengers, ran aground on rocks near Jangsan Island, Sinan County, on Wednesday evening (local time).
According to the BBC, the ship is stuck on a reef and has been immobilized. The coast guard announced that there is no risk of sinking or capsizing. Passengers are being transferred to safety by patrol boats.
Local media reported that five people sustained minor injuries. South Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-seok ordered the mobilization of all available vessels for the rescue.
The area is near the site where the Sewol ferry sank in 2014.
