Pakistan: Arrests in 'Honor Killing' – Couple Shot Dead

Fourteen arrests have been made in Pakistan in connection with an alleged 'honor killing' where a couple was shot dead. The killings took place in the Balochistan province and drew the attention of authorities after a video surfaced showing the perpetrators shooting the victims.
According to police, the man who shot and killed the woman was her brother, acting on behalf of the family and tribe. The tribal chief, Sardar Baz Satakzai, ordered the killings and has been arrested.
The victims were accused of having an extramarital affair. The first minister of the province, Sarfaraz Bugti, stated that all those involved would be prosecuted. A local court ordered the exhumation of the bodies for autopsy.
The released video shows a man shooting the woman at close range and a man lying on the ground, with several men shooting the two dead bodies.
