Drone Strike in Sudan Kills 10, Including 7 Children

A drone strike in the city of El Obeid, Sudan, has killed ten people, including seven children, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses. The attack hit a house in the city, which is besieged by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

El Obeid is located in the North Kordofan state and is a strategic point on the road between Khartoum and Darfur. Fighting between the army and the paramilitary forces has been ongoing since April 2023, causing a severe humanitarian crisis.

The escalation of violence has displaced thousands of people from the Kordofan regions, and peace efforts have failed.
