Tourist Survives Near-Drowning in Egypt After Being Swept Away by Wave

A tourist from China narrowly escaped drowning in Marsa Matrouh, Egypt, after a large wave swept her off a rock while she was posing for a photo.

The incident occurred at Matrouh Eye, a popular seaside spot. The tourist, wearing an orange dress, was swept away by the wave and crashed against the rocks.

According to the Daily Mail, the tourist described her experience as "terrifying" and reported suffering scrapes. She stated that she was lucky not to be seriously injured and would be more careful in the future.
