Tourist Death in Cape Verde: Hotel Accusations

A tourist died in a luxury hotel in Cape Verde, where she had traveled to celebrate her son's engagement. Her family accuses the hotel of poor hygiene and inadequate medical care.
Elena Walsh, 64, traveled to Cape Verde on August 1st. About a week later, she developed symptoms such as nausea and diarrhea, and died on August 10th. Her husband, Patrick, stated that her condition deteriorated rapidly.
The family has hired lawyers to investigate the case, with lawyer Jatinder Paul reporting that he has represented 200 people who fell ill at the same hotel in the past three years. A similar incident occurred in 2022 with Jane Pressley.
The investigation into Elena Walsh's death is ongoing.
