Dubai to Create Gold-Covered Road in New Gold District

Dubai plans to create a road covered in gold in the new Gold District, which will be developed in the area of the well-known Gold Souk.

The project was announced by the Emirate's Press Office on January 27, 2025. The Gold District, essentially a renaming of the existing Gold Souk, houses approximately 1,000 gold and jewelry stores in the Deira area.
