According to a Time Out survey, Bangkok is emerging as the top city for Gen Z. The annual survey, which included more than 18,500 city residents worldwide, identified the Thai capital as ideal for young people, receiving high marks for happiness, affordability, and opportunities to meet new people.

Melbourne took second place, with its young residents appreciating the city's diversity and culture. Cape Town is in third place, known for its beauty and affordable entertainment options. New York, in fourth place, is described as 'exciting' and praised for its nightlife.

Copenhagen completes the top five, followed by Barcelona, Edinburgh, Mexico City, London, and Shanghai. The Time Out survey highlights the cities that offer young people opportunities for socialization, financial comfort, and cultural experiences.
