Kalamata: Climbers Conquer Mount Ararat

Five climbers from Kalamata, Greece, have successfully reached the summit of Mount Ararat, at 5,147 meters. The team, consisting of Manolis Aloimonos, Giorgos Loumakis, Loukia Falkova, Vasilis Triantafyllos, and Panagiotis Krompas, raised the Greek and Kalamata flags at the summit.
Mount Ararat, the highest mountain in Turkey, is a popular destination for climbers, known for its challenging conditions, including high altitude, low temperatures, and glaciers.
The climbers from the Kalamata Mountaineering Club had been preparing for this expedition for months.
