Andros Tops List of 'Secret' Greek Islands

Andros is emerging as one of the top 'secret' island destinations in Greece, according to a study published on Reisereporter.de. The study, co-financed by the European Travel Commission (ETC), found that travelers are increasingly seeking quality and peaceful destinations.

The research highlights that 55% of travelers prefer less popular and remote destinations for their holidays, while 11% consider visiting such destinations as their only option. Andros stands out as a Cycladic destination that has not been affected by mass tourism, maintaining its authenticity and offering unique architecture and beautiful beaches.

According to Reisereporter.de, Andros, despite being only two hours from Rafina, maintains its quality and captivates its visitors. The promotion of Andros as a quality destination was also confirmed in meetings of the Municipality of Andros at the international tourism fair in Berlin, where the increasing trend towards less crowded destinations was noted.
