A supermarket in Estonia, the Viimsi Shopping Center, has integrated a 10,000-year-old glacial boulder into its center. The boulder was discovered in 2014 during foundation work.

Initially, workers planned to blast the boulder, but local community reactions and recognition of its geological significance led to its preservation.

The boulder, with a circumference of 22 meters and a height of 6 meters, is now an integral part of the shopping center, offering a unique element to the shopping experience.

Glacial boulders are rocks transported by glaciers and provide evidence of geological history. Estonia is home to thousands of such boulders.
