Renault 4 E-Tech Electric: Finalist for Car of the Year 2026

The RENAULT 4 E-TECH ELECTRIC is a contender for the «Car of the Year 2026» award. The committee, consisting of 57 journalists from 23 countries, selected the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric from among 35 models.

This is the fifth consecutive year that a Renault model has been among the finalists. Previous models include the Mégane E-Tech Electric (2022), Austral Full Hybrid E-Tech (2023), Scenic E-Tech Electric (2024), and Renault 5 E-Tech Electric (2025).

The new R4 E-Tech Electric combines retro-futuristic design and is fully electric. The luggage space is 420 liters with a loading length of 2.20 meters. It is offered in two battery versions, EV40 and EV52, with 120 and 150 horsepower respectively, and in three equipment levels: Evolution, Techno, and Iconic 4.

The Renault 4 E-Tech Electric features a bidirectional 11 kW AC charger, compatible with V2L and V2G technologies. The winner will be announced on January 9, 2026, in Brussels.
