Chinese Robot Breaks Half Marathon Record

A robot in China ran a half marathon and broke the world record. The robot, developed by Honor, demonstrated impressive speed and endurance.

Over 100 robots participated in the race, highlighting the significant progress of humanoid robots. However, shortly before the finish line, the Honor robot crashed into protective barriers and needed assistance to complete its attempt.

The winner of the robot category recorded a time of 2 hours and 40 minutes, significantly slower than the human winner. At the annual CCTV Chinese New Year gala, Unitree robots showcased martial arts demonstrations.
