ICEYE Hellas: Satellites Made in Greece

Finnish company ICEYE has chosen Athens as a space technology hub. The company has built two Earth observation microsatellites, equipped with SAR radar, at its laboratory in Neo Psychiko for the Greek government.
The satellites will be sent to SpaceX facilities in the USA and launched into space by the end of the year.
ICEYE co-founder and CEO Rafal Modrzewski, and ICEYE Hellas General Manager Vasilis Haloulakos, welcomed Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to the company's facilities.
The Greek government aims to create an ecosystem around space and space technology, with ICEYE playing a significant role.
