European Union Launches AI-on-Demand Platform

The European Union has launched new features on the AI-on-Demand platform as part of its Digital Strategy. The aim is to enhance collaboration between researchers, businesses, and the public sector.
The platform serves as a single access point to tools, data, and computing resources, supporting research and AI applications. Recent additions include the AI Marketplace, low-code/no-code development tools, and secure solutions for AI models.
AI-on-Demand is part of the European Digital Strategy, which promotes the development of data infrastructure, the enhancement of digital skills, and the creation of a regulatory framework through the AI Act, which came into effect in August 2024 and will be fully implemented by August 2027.
The platform benefits researchers, businesses, and the public sector by providing access to datasets, analysis tools, and solutions for various sectors. It promotes interoperability among EU member states, enhancing Europe's digital autonomy and competitiveness.
