Aryna Sabalenka Wins Miami Open Title

Aryna Sabalenka won the Miami Open title, defeating Coco Gauff 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 in the final. This is the 5th time a player has achieved the Sunshine Double at the two Masters tournaments.

The Belarusian, No. 1 in the world rankings, now has 23 wins in 24 matches this year. Her only defeat was in the Australian Open final against Elena Rybakina.

Sabalenka celebrated her 7th victory against Coco Gauff in 13 encounters and has 11 titles in 1000-point tournaments and 24 overall in her career.

As of Monday (March 30), she will be 2,917 points ahead of Elena Rybakina, No. 2 in the world rankings.
