Piastri Takes Pole Position in Spa Sprint Race Qualifying

Oscar Piastri dominated the Sprint Race qualifying session at Spa, securing pole position. The Australian McLaren driver set the fastest time, leaving Max Verstappen in second place by 0.477 seconds.

The Sprint Race will take place tomorrow at 13:00 Greek time. Lando Norris, also a McLaren driver, qualified third, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was fourth.

The two Haas cars surprised, with Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman finishing in 5th and 7th place respectively. A disappointing showing for Mercedes, with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli limited to 13th and 20th place.

The first three Sprint Races of 2025 have seen three different pole sitters: Lewis Hamilton, Kimi Antonelli, and now Oscar Piastri. Tomorrow's race will be 15 laps long.
