Tiger Woods Involved in Car Accident in Florida

Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover car accident on Friday (March 27) in Jupiter Island, Florida, according to ABC News and ESPN.

The Martin County Sheriff's office confirmed the incident. Woods' condition is currently unknown, and the cause of the accident is under investigation. The accident reportedly occurred around 2 p.m. in the town where Woods resides.

The 50-year-old Woods was involved in a serious car accident in Southern California in February 2021, which resulted in multiple leg fractures and significantly impacted his golf career. He was not expected to participate in next month's Masters Tournament but had registered for the U.S. Senior Open.

Woods, a 15-time major champion on the PGA Tour, had recently hinted at the possibility of competing on the Champions Tour.
