Tragedy in Romania: Mourning for 7 PAOK Fans Killed in Accident

Seven PAOK fans lost their lives in a traffic accident in Romania while traveling to Lyon, France, to support their team. The accident occurred in TimiČ™ County, on the DN6 - E70 road, near the town of Lugojelul.
The van carrying the fans collided head-on with a truck. Of the seven fatalities, three were from Alexandria, two from Katerini, and two from Thessaloniki. Three more were injured and are being treated in a hospital in Timișoara.
Outside the Toumba stadium, fans left flowers, candles, and scarves in memory of the victims. PAOK coach Razvan Lucescu, along with players and members of the management, also visited the site.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and consular authorities have been mobilized to repatriate the bodies. Marios Tsakas, a member of the PAOK FC board, is also in Romania to support the injured and handle the necessary procedures.
One of the injured is in the ICU with multiple fractures and lung injuries, while the other two have injuries that are not of concern.
