Serbian Praise for Nikolic: "Leading AEK to European Heights"

Marko Nikolic, the coach of AEK, is being praised by Serbian media for the team's run in the Conference League.

Despite a 2-0 defeat to Celje, qualification for the quarter-finals was secured thanks to a 4-0 victory in the first leg. AEK will face Rayo Vallecano in April, aiming to advance to the semi-finals.

The website «mondo.rs» emphasizes that "Marko Nikolic is leading AEK to the European trophy," while «republika.rs» refers to the presence of Serbian players Luka Jovic, Mijat Gacinovic, and Marko Grujic in the team.

AEK started their journey in the competition from three qualifying rounds and finished 3rd in the League Phase.
