Scholes: 'Without them, we won't win the World Cup'

England has qualified for the 2026 World Cup, becoming the first European team to secure its place. The 'Three Lions' defeated Latvia 5-0 and became the 25th team to compete in the USA.

Despite his team's excellent performance, Thomas Tuchel is under criticism. Paul Scholes questioned his choices for the October matches, as Jude Bellingham, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden were left out of the squad.

Scholes stated on Gary Neville's podcast: 'I was a little surprised. These three players need to be in the team. If you look at the team now, you would say that they have virtually no chance of winning the World Cup without them. Even with these three players, it is still a big challenge, but it gives more chances to reach the top'.
