Renato Sanches Hesitates on Trabzonspor Deal Due to Injury Clauses

Renato Sanches's transfer to Trabzonspor faces critical hours. The Portuguese midfielder is reportedly hesitant about the terms proposed by the Turkish club, which include safeguards related to his medical history.
Trabzonspor has agreed with Paris Saint-Germain for a one-year loan of the player for a €1 million fee, with a €9 million purchase option. The Turkish team would cover 40% of Sanches's wages, approximately €2.5 million.
However, Trabzonspor requested the player's full medical record and invited Sanches to Trabzon for a thorough examination. The Turks want to protect themselves from potential muscle injuries and have proposed an agreement with safety clauses, similar to the one proposed by Panathinaikos, which Sanches rejected.
If Sanches changes his mind and accepts Panathinaikos's terms, a renewed interest from the Greek team cannot be ruled out.
