Liverpool Goalkeeper Rafaela Borggräfe Suspended for Racist Comment

Liverpool goalkeeper Rafaela Borggräfe has been suspended for six matches for making a racist comment towards a teammate. The incident occurred during a training session.

Liverpool reported the German goalkeeper to the English Football Association (FA). Coach Gareth Taylor stated that the team did the right thing and wants to close the matter.

Borggräfe, who was acquired last summer from Freiburg, has already served five matches of her suspension. The last game of her punishment is the upcoming match for the FA Cup against London Bees.
