Rafael Leão Denies Involvement in Escort Ring Scandal

A scandal has erupted in Italy regarding a luxury escort ring, which was brought to light by the Italian press. The Milan Prosecutor's Office, headed by Marcello Viola, has ordered an investigation and has already made four house arrests.

One of the names linked to the case is that of Milan footballer Rafael Leão. Leão denied the allegations via a post on social media. "After my name and that of other players appeared on websites, social media and newspapers in connection with an investigation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, I want to clarify directly that I do not know the facts being investigated at all. I am not involved and have not committed any crime. I ask everyone to avoid associating my name with this situation arbitrarily or superficially, without taking into account the truth and respect for privacy.
