Panathinaikos: Victory Sealed by Dessers and Lafont

Panathinaikos returned to winning ways, defeating Volos 2-1 in a league match. Dessers scored and won a penalty, which Bakasetas converted successfully. Volos reduced the deficit with a goal by Komba.

Alban Lafont saved Lambrou's penalty in the 48th minute, maintaining Panathinaikos' lead. Dessers and Lafont will join the national teams of Nigeria and Ivory Coast respectively for the Africa Cup of Nations.

Panathinaikos' next match is against Kavala for the Cup, followed by the derby against PAOK in Toumba on 21/12.
