Ounahi: "Thank you Panathinaikos, my goal is La Liga"

Azzedine Ounahi thanked Panathinaikos for their offer to continue with the team, but explained that he preferred Girona, as his goal was to play in La Liga.

In a message on social media, the Moroccan midfielder stated: "I would like to warmly thank Panathinaikos for this amazing season we had together. Thank you to all the staff, my teammates and especially the fans for their trust, support and kindness during this adventure."

He also thanked the coach and technical director for their support. "I am very grateful to the team for the offer they made me to stay, but my goal was to come to La Liga and thanks to this excellent season, I managed to fulfill my dream. Panathinaikos will forever remain a milestone in my career."
