Olympiacos Announces Mehdi Taremi Transfer

Olympiacos has announced the acquisition of Iranian forward Mehdi Taremi, completing a significant transfer. Taremi, with 258 goals at club and national level, will strengthen the team's attacking line.

Taremi began his career at Persepolis, played for Rio Ave and Porto, where he scored 91 goals in 182 games. He also played for Inter. He is the second top scorer in the history of the Iranian national team with 56 goals in 95 appearances.

Olympiacos FC announced that Taremi, born on July 18, 1992, had 43 appearances last season with Inter, scoring three goals and providing nine assists. He has won one Championship, two Super Cups, three Cups and one League Cup with Porto.

Taremi has played in two World Cups with the Iranian national team (2018, 2022).
