OFI to Play Panathinaikos Behind Closed Doors Due to Punishment

OFI will host Panathinaikos without spectators at the Pankritio Stadium on Sunday (22/2) for the 22nd matchday of the Super League. The punishment was imposed by the Standing Committee for Combating Violence (DEAB) due to incidents in the cup match against Levadiakos.

Specifically, the penalty concerns the throwing of a plastic bottle and seats by OFI fans during the celebrations for qualifying for the final. DEAB emphasized that the punishment is imposed regardless of whether the objects were aimed at opponents, as long as they were likely to cause bodily harm.
